Who We Are
Martín Antón Abogados was established in 1998 by Alberto Martín Antón, a practising lawyer since 1991 and Director of the Firm. Our practice focuses on civil liability and Insurance Law, with experience in providing claims and defence services to victims and injured parties of major claims before the civil, criminal, labour and administrative litigation jurisdictions.
For more than three decades, distinguished by our humanity, rigour and specialisation, we have helped injured parties and victims in more than 15,000 resolved cases, with involvement in more than 12,000 court proceedings before all courts and tribunals throughout Spain, with particular emphasis on the resolution of major claims and matters of extreme complexity.
For more than 35 years, we have helped, expertly and rigorously, victims of spinal cord injuries and acquired brain injury, as well as the family members affected by the death of a loved one.

History
The Firm Martín Antón Abogados is made up of a group of Lawyers and administrative staff, specialising in the defence and pursuit of claims arising from Civil Liability and Insurance Law, in any of its branches of specialisation.
Given its long-standing activity, dedicated to the specialism of insurance contract law, the staff of this Firm hold extensive, expert training in the handling and resolution of case files, both out of court (amicably) and before the courts. All of this, together with extensive experience across all jurisdictions and before every judicial body and instance in Spain: Courts of First Instance, Examining Courts (now Courts of Instance), Criminal Courts, Provincial Courts (including Jury Court proceedings), High Courts of Justice, the Supreme Court, the Constitutional Court and the Court of Justice of the European Union.
Our results stem from an extensive, expert knowledge of the legal system, applied both to personalised advice and to the prevention and handling of major claims — first pursuing an amicable out-of-court settlement (ADR) and, where an optimal outcome for the client cannot be reached this way, mounting a qualified and expert defence before the courts. We stay up to date with every legislative change that may affect the handling and management of the case files entrusted to us.
The Firm is likewise committed to training law students and trainee lawyers, through agreements entered into with leading public and private universities.
